Announcement regarding the receipt of the SOC 2 Type II Report for GenialAI information security controls

Genial Technology has received the SOC 2 Type II Report (hereinafter referred to as “SOC Report”) for the Excel add-in SaaS product, GenialAI, on February 5, 2025. Companies using GenialAI or GenialAI OCR can utilize this Report to streamline the evaluation of internal controls related to information security for Genial AI.

※ SOC: System and Organization Controls

 ■ Overview of SOC Report types

• SOC 1 Report
  A report that provides assurance on internal controls related to financial reporting for outsourcing service providers (contractors) entrusted with certain operations.

• SOC 2 Report
  A report that provides assurance on internal controls related to criteria selected by the contractor from the “Trust Services Criteria,” which include Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.

Type I Report provide assurance on the evaluation of control design as of a specific date, while Type II Report evaluate both the design and operational effectiveness of controls over a specified period.
